Nowhere else are so many winners and losers being produced. Nowhere else is the winner lifted into the sky and the losers tossed in the bottomless pits. Modern football has become the epitome of globalization. And so it is hardly surprising that the play equipment, the ball, is not produced in a classic football country like England, Italy or Germany. Sialkot, a secluded town in Pakistan, is one of the few remaining white spots in the world of football, yet the vibrant center of the football production.
